Blair named chief executive of Siloam Springs Regional Hospital


Northwest Health has named Chris Blair, MBA, BSN, as the administrative director of Siloam Springs Regional Hospital effective Monday, April 11, according to a news release.

Blair is a highly motivated servant leader from Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas. where he held several leadership positions – most recently as director of business development, the statement said. He previously ran a 42-bed progressive care unit, a 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and two multi-specialty outpatient clinics, the statement said.

“I look forward to joining the team at Northwest Health and Siloam Springs Regional Hospital,” Blair said. “As the region continues to experience rapid growth, the focus should be on the needs of this community, and I am thrilled to be part of the journey. As my wife and I visited, the warmth the community has made evidence confirms what we already knew – Siloam Springs is a special place.”

Beginning his career in the Navy, Blair held many positions, from hospital staff to director of business development. Blair is passionate about mentoring, educating and motivating his team. After five years in the Navy, Blair earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Excelsior College and a master’s degree in business administration from Texas Women’s University, the statement said.

“Siloam Springs is gaining a great healthcare leader,” said Chris York, general manager of market for Northwest Health. “Chris’ clinical background and his various leadership roles within healthcare and the Navy will complement the excellent work being done by the team at the hospital.”
