Held annually at the London Wine Fair, the Drinks Business Awards recognize and reward the top performers in the international drinks industry over the past 12 months, in areas ranging from social media marketing and influence to impactful launches and exceptional individuals.
Beating global alcohol brands such as Casillero del Diablo, the victory is a shining example of how companies can use their platform to effect tangible and meaningful change.
Co-Founder Justin Moran said, “Winning this award is a testament to our incredible team, our loyal retailers, partners, ambassadors and customers who have supported our mission and help us work towards a common goal. We are humbled by this recognition, and this award will only serve to further motivate us to continue our crusade to clean up the world’s oceans.
Powered by the support of its retailers and consumers, the brand’s mission is simple: for every bottle of wine sold, they work with a Danish company, ReSea Projectto remove and recycle the equivalent of 10 single-use plastic bottles from our oceans and waterways.
The award honored The Hidden Sea’s multi-faceted consumer campaign and the momentous milestone of removing 10 million plastic bottles from the ocean in 18 months, bringing them one step closer to their ultimate goal: removing 1 billion plastic bottles from the ocean by 2030.
