Clonmel-based food company Rívesci has undergone a digital transformation after being chosen as a winning candidate for the Virgin Media Backing Business initiative.

The initiative has helped Rivesci grow its business, allowing even more people to taste their handmade condiments that appear in local stores, artisan butchers, bakeries and cafes across the country, while helping them to develop their e-commerce offerings. .

Five companies from Munster were selected as winners of the Virgin Media Backing Business initiative and received a total support of 100,000 €. They have benefited greatly from the expertise and knowledge of each of Virgin Media’s business partners including Digital Business Ireland, Milk Bottle Labs, Permanent TSB and their local business office.

Virgin Media and its partners will continue to mentor and support each of these companies as they continue on their journey to deliver the best digital e-commerce platforms and solutions to their customers.

Speaking about the transformation, Shannon Forrest from Rívesci said, “Our initial business plan for a food truck was forced to shift to condiment making when the lockdown hit.
