A Tasteful Affair is back for 2022 and is scheduled for 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, April 28 at the Riverside Pavilion, 3431 Ridgewood Ave., Port Orange.

A dessert chain is coming to the region

Greg George, president of PCF Franchising LLC, announced several Florida multi-unit deals for the Peach Cobbler Factory chain, according to RestaurantNews.com.

The company announced that a total of 10 new locations will be in Destin, Santa Rosa Beach, Navarre Beach, Orlando, Winter Park, Buena Vista, Fort Walton Beach, Gainesville, Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach.

The Peach Cobbler Factory was founded in Nashville in 2013 by Tamira and Juan Edgerton and the pair teamed up with Mr George in August to launch the North Carolina-based PCF franchise.

AM connection set

The West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce AM Connection will meet at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 26 at the Deltona Center, 1640 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd.

Business Hall of Fame

The inaugural Quad-City Business Hall of Fame awards ceremony will take place on May 20.

The awards are for businesses in DeLand, Orange City, DeBary, Deltona, Lake Helen and DeLeon Springs.

The awards ceremony will be open to the public. Companies registered for the event will be able to present their innovative ideas, products and services. There is a $25 registration fee.

20s Chamber Gala

The Southeastern Volusia Chamber of Commerce will host a Roaring Twenties Gala presented by AdventHealth at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 14. Location will be announced closer to the date

There will be dinner, dancing, a 1920s band, casino tables, special cocktails and a contest with prizes.

The event is open to the public, but tickets are limited to 250 guests. Sponsorships are available from $700 to $5,000. Two tickets are $250 or individual tickets are $140.
